This is Honey, a beautiful female German Shepherd, around 5 years old, who is looking for her forever home.

Honey was rescued by a dear friend after suffering from severe abuse and malnourishment. Thanks to a year of dedicated love and care, she is now healthy, well-fed, and thriving. She truly has the sweetest soul — affectionate, gentle, and eager to be close to her people (she would be a lap dog if she could!).

Honey is currently loved and well cared for, but her rescuer is an older woman who has done everything right by saving her life and giving her time to heal. Now, Honey needs a home that can offer more long-term support, structure, and space — and she absolutely deserves it.

• Calm, loving, and people-oriented
• Does well around other dogs — either friendly or indifferent
• Cats do not bother her (she may gently pick them up and move them — she has a very soft mouth and will not break skin)
